Born in Dublin, but a native of Co. Roscommon, Gabriel graduated as a Dental Surgeon from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Dublin Dental Hospital in 1969; former Registrar in Oral Surgery at St Bartholomew's London, and a General Dental Practice owner in Bedfordshire, where he lives. Three of his four children now live in Dublin.

Honorary Secretary
Owen Murphy, who hails from Monaghan, is a graduate of Oxford University, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. A semi-retired economist, he is Honorary Secretary of the Irish Club and its immediate past Chairman. Since 2001 he has, with other officers, played a key part in restoring the Club's fortunes.

Richard Delaney

Richard has been a member of the Club since 1995. With an Irish father and a German mother, he has been working in Germany, Ireland and the UK over the last few years. He was called to the Bar in 2002, and is currently working as a lawyer in Cambridge, where he lives with his fiancee Ulrike.
